Bought pair these gloves a week ago and when I got them there was a hole in the left glove. I tried to exchange them for a new one but they told me to keep them and sent me a new pair for free. If you want them to break in fast put a little mineral oil on them and they loosen up great
Would be a 5 plus star if not for changes. Quality is still a 5 but the changes to the thumb and overall increase in the size is a bummer. The first pair I bought several years ago was a large that “fit like a glove”. Now a medium is what I wear and the fingers are to long. Customer service is a 10. I hope if the go back to the way they were first made they will let me know, I will buy several more at that time.
Kind of disappointing to pay $80 for gloves made by, “Our friends in Pakistan.” I would much rather they be made by our neighbors in America!
Terry - We are a very small company. We tried to manufacture here for years and it was not possible. Big companies operate with complete immunity inside a world economy set up 70 years ago, while small companies are expected to ignore that reality. We have become very good friends with a family company in Sikakot where 70% of the world gloves are produced. This option has given us the ability to work with a littany of US based consultants and firms for years. Our domestic distribution center is in Madison, Alabama, all of our influencers are here, our marketing team an so on. I understand folks want small companies to ignore international commerce but it is impossible. Decisions were made 70 years ago that had nothign to do with us. In terms of the gloves, how do you like them. THanks for working with us.
Very durable and comfortable
I ordered a set of medium and small gloves. Ti had actually recovered a pair of these gloves myself from a friend and wanted to pay it forward but the gloves I received were significantly smaller than the pair I had received earlier. I think being "handmade" I can accept some variation but it's frustrating that my shoes have over a dozen sizes but gloves are x small, small medium large. What if our fingers aren't as short or long or wide or thin as the molds for these sizes. This and the fact that two gloves of the same size won't fit the same is concerning. I haven't worn the gloves long enough to know how well they'll last. I'm also not a fan of the phone touch screen. I'd rather not have this weak point in the glove and just have full leather that doesn't potentially weaken over time.
If these gloves last a year without wear and tear then I'll change my review to 4 stars. See you then.
While we try to be perfect in every aspect of what we do, it is simply impossible. There are times we make mistakes on a glove or a pair of gloves. Water Buffalo is enormously difficult to work with which is why few people use it. The way we can make up for errors is through service and offering to send you another pair. Eventually we will get the correct pair for your hands. In regards to the touch finger. This is not a weak point but if anything adds strength as it is sewn on top of the leather. Thansk for your review, however; in the future just email us with issues and we will get them fixed. Ask anyone, we stand by these gloves.
